Privacy Policy


ProdigyWorks is a service of RTi Research. This policy defines the commitment of RTi Research to protect the privacy of Personal Information that is collected or used in the course of conducting RTi business.  On a global basis, RTi will, and will cause its affiliates to, establish and maintain business procedures that are consistent with this policy.

RTi Research complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S.DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and to the rights of EU and UK individuals as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce.  RTi Research has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. We respect the privacy rights of individuals.
RTi respects the legal requirements that exist regarding the privacy of Personal Information and is committed to complying with all applicable law.  RTi will, from time to time, review its Personal Information collection, use, and disclosure practices in order to assure compliance with laws and regulations.

NOTICE
We give notice of all Personal Information Collection.
RTi will give notice when Personal Information is collected or when any collected information is later to be provided to third parties.  All notices will explain the need for the information and describe how the information will be used.  Personal Information will not be used to directly market any products or services to identifiable persons unless that possibility has been disclosed in advance and the opportunity not to participate has been given.

RTi information collection may include Name, Mailing Address, Email Address, Personal Telephone Numbers, Gender, Race/Ethnicity, Income, Age, Education, Marital Status, Date of Birth, protected health or medical information, personal financial information.

Information is collected in support of marketing research surveying and analysis.

We explain the consequences of collecting and processing.
RTi will state the consequences of any decision by individuals not to provide Personal Information requested by RTi.

We process and distribute information consistent with notice.
RTi will collect and use Personal Information consistently with the notices that have been provided.  However, RTi may decide to remove identifiable features from collected Personal Information and the resulting information may then be used for statistical, historic, scientific or other purposes, consistent with applicable law.

CHOICE
We get explicit consent for sensitive information/opt-in.
RTi will maintain procedures to assure that sensitive information is only collected with explicit consent and is protected against improper use, consistent with applicable law.

ONWARD TRANSFER
We require others who process RTi data to comply with the RTi policy.
RTi will contractually require others who acquire or provide Personal Information from or to RTi, including those engaged to provide support services, at a minimum, to adopt and comply with the principles and objectives of this policy.

RTi may transfer personal information to a third party that such data may only be processed for limited and specified purposes consistent with the consent provided by the individual and that the recipient will provide the same level of protection as in the principles and objectives of this policy.

In the context of an onward transfer RTi has responsibility for the processing of personal information it receives under The Insights Association Data Privacy Framework Services Program and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf.  RTi shall remain liable under the Principles if its agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless the organization proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

SECURITY
We provide information security.
RTi will maintain the security of Personal Information and protect the integrity of such information, with a commercially reasonable degree of care.

RTi will under certain limited conditions recognize that individuals may initiate binding arbitration to address any complaint that RTi has violated its obligations before The Insights Association Data Privacy Framework Services Program Arbitration Panel.

DATA INTEGRITY
Personal Information collected is relevant for the purpose for which it is to be used and, to the extent necessary, RTi takes reasonable steps to ensure data is reliable for intended use, and that it is accurate, complete and current.

ACCESS
We provide individuals a way to access, correct, or remove their information.
RTi will maintain procedures consistent with applicable law for individuals to gain access to their collected Personal Information and, when appropriate, correct any information that is inaccurate or incomplete, change their individual consent level, or have their Personal Information deleted. RTi will also maintain procedures consistent with applicable law allowing individuals to opt-out of their collected Personal Information being shared with 3rd parties and for uses incompatible with the original purpose. Individuals shall have access to personal information about them that RTi holds and will be able to correct, amend, or delete that information where it is inaccurate except when the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the individuals privacy in the case in question, or where the rights of persons other than the individual would be violated.

RTi may disclose personal information with 3rd party data collectors or data processors for the purposes of collecting information or processing data in support of marketing research activities.

ENFORCEMENT
We provide a way to verify compliance and process complaints.
RTi will publish the procedures for verifying compliance and responding to complaints regarding potential deviations from its established procedures for protecting Personal Information.

We will disclose Personal Information when required by law or court order.
In order to provide transparency in respect of lawful requests by public authorities to access personal information, RTi may voluntarily disclose personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, for law enforcement or national security reasons, to the extent such disclosures are permissible under applicable law.
